(Nasdaq: MU) announced today that HONOR’s latest flagship smartphone HONOR Magic6 Pro, leverages Micron’s low-power double data rate 5X (LPDDR5X) memory and Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 4.0 mobile flash storage to deliver on-device AI. Representing a new era of on-device generative AI, the HONOR Magic6 Pro flagship smartphone features a large language model (LLM) called MagicLM with seven billion parameters. This LLM is at the heart of HONOR Magic6 Pro and powers unprecedented predictive and personalized AI experiences — all accelerated by Micron memory and storage.

The HONOR Magic6 Pro flagship smartphone features a unique intent-based user interface (IUI) on its operating system MagicOS 8.0. Based on platform-level AI, MagicOS 8.0 can interpret language, images, gestures and eye movements to understand a user's intent and offer services proactively — ranging from travel to shopping and productivity to entertainment — enriching users’ digital and daily lives.

HONOR’s research and development teams closely collaborate with Micron’s engineers who create innovative firmware and hardware features. These features enable better experiences and faster performance for HONOR Magic6 Pro users and the broader mobile ecosystem.

This announcement complements Micron’s release today of an enhanced version of its UFS 4.0 solution at Mobile World Congress with breakthrough proprietary firmware features in the world’s most compact package for managed NAND. Together, these launches extend Micron’s mobile leadership and accelerate artificial intelligence experiences at the edge for smartphone users.
