    Micron G9 NAND mobile UFS 4.1 is at the forefront of this transformation, offering sequential read and write speeds of over 4100MBps. This faster speed and lower latency will help smartphones deliver on the promise of AI-powered applications, and move the industry towards convergence into powerful multimodal AI agents.

    Micron is currently sampling the world's first G9 NAND for mobile with UFS 4.1 products to deliver smoother and faster user experiences in flagship smartphones.

    1. Performance and design comparisons are based on publicly available competitor information at the time of product launch for NAND shipping in an SSD. Competitors are defined as SK hynix, Solidigm, Kioxia, WD and Samsung Semiconductor.

    2. Micron announced shipment of 9th-generation G9 ​NAND (G9) in the Micron 2650 NVMe, a first for the industry. Micron was previously first to announce the industry’s 7th- and 8th-generation NAND shipping in an SSD in 2020 and 2022, respectively, and is now first to ship again.
