    Module Validation Program (MVP)


    MVP enables Micron to perform Intel aligned self validation of memory modules in approved validation environments, with results fed back to Intel to support faster enablement, earlier insight into readiness, and a more efficient path to platform qualification. These products may not appear on Intel’s web posting lists, but customers can contact Intel directly for confirmation.

    Micron and Intel set new STAC benchmark records: Transforming financial analytics performance for capital markets

    Micron and Intel have set new industry records on both the STAC-A2™ and STAC-M3™ benchmarks, demonstrating breakthrough performance for financial services and capital markets.

    On STAC-A2, our joint solution with Intel Xeon 6 processors and Micron MRDIMMs delivered world-record speed for risk analytics and Monte Carlo simulations, achieving 35.2 milliseconds to market insight, over two times throughput, nearly 10 times faster cold-start, and a 28% gain in energy efficiency compared to previous bests.

    For STAC-M3, Micron, Intel and Supermicro delivered record-setting results for high-performance tick database queries and time-series analytics, powered by Micron 9550 NVMe SSDs and high-capacity DDR5 memory.     Micron DDR5 in a dual socket server using Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8490H-60C processor with Intel® AMX achieves 7x3 gain for image classification used in computer vision when compared with DDR4 and 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8380 processor. The Micron DDR5 and 4th Gen Intel Xeon server is capable of annotating and labeling over 14,000 samples inferenced per second.

    3. Benchmarks were performed by Micron’s Data Center Workload Engineering (DCWE) team in collaboration with Intel. DDR4 and DDR5 systems populated with 64GB RDIMMs in a one DIMM per channel (1DPC) configuration for a total of 1TB. Both systems were configured using the same software stack Alma Linux 9 (Kernel 5.14).
