Manish Bhatia

Manish Bhatia is president and chief operating officer at Micron Technology.

Manish joined Micron in 2017 and leads the company's business units and global operations which together form the Enterprise Business Organization, with accountability for Micron's operating P&L, spanning capital investment, manufacturing execution, and customer demand, pricing and delivery. With 30 years of engineering and operations experience, Manish has a proven track record of driving semiconductor manufacturing excellence across a global footprint of cutting edge manufacturing facilities that have demonstrated industry-recognized leadership in quality, AI and smart manufacturing. Manish's scope includes Micron's four business units, fab and assembly/test manufacturing, global procurement and supply chain, global government and public affairs, information technology, smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence.

Manish serves on the board of Quantinuum, a leading quantum computing company. He is also a board member of the U.S.-Japan Business Council and Singapore Economic Development Board. Manish was awarded Singapore's Public Service Medal (Friends of Singapore) in 2024 for his contributions to the country’s semiconductor industry.

Prior to Micron, Manish held several executive roles at Western Digital Corporation, SanDisk Corporation, Matrix Semiconductor, and as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. 

Manish earned bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in business administration from MIT's Sloan School of Management, which he attended as a Leaders for Manufacturing fellow.
