Scaling the Future of AI Together

Two years ago, at our Micron Supplier Day in San Francisco, we asked our suppliers to believe in the tremendous opportunity superintelligence and AI would create for memory and storage. They did! And together we have helped unleash that opportunity.

Today, the magnitude of the AI opportunity is even greater than we imagined. AI continues to advance at an extraordinary pace, driving historic growth across the semiconductor industry and reinforcing the critical role of memory and storage in enabling this transformation. Now, our focus must shift to scaling together to meet it.

That was the central focus of our recent Micron Supplier Day in Boise, where we were pleased to host more than 250 representatives from 130 of the most influential companies in the semiconductor industry to discuss how our partnership must evolve in the age of AI.

As AI systems advance and become more capable, they must process, move and store massive amounts of data, making memory and storage increasingly critical to their performance. Meeting the demand ahead will require tremendous scale across our technology, manufacturing operations and the broader semiconductor ecosystem.

We cannot scale alone. Our ability to expand memory production depends on the readiness of the ecosystem that supports it. This includes investments in workforce strategies that build a talent pipeline for suppliers and Micron because, for all of us, that ecosystem scales at the speed of our people. Capturing the opportunity ahead will require greater capacity, investment and even closer collaboration across our supply chain.

Our event in Boise provided a powerful view of that future. Our suppliers had the opportunity to tour the site of the first fab in our U.S. expansion and see firsthand the scale of investment underway to support our growth. This expansion is part of Micron’s broader global efforts to build the capacity enabling the future of AI.

As we look to the scale required ahead, supplier performance and collaboration will only become more important. Our Supplier Day gave us the opportunity to recognize partners whose innovation, execution and collaboration are helping Micron meet the moment. Congratulations to our Supplier Award recipients and thank you to all our suppliers for your continued partnership.

Together, we helped unleash the opportunity of AI. Now, we must scale together to capture what comes next.
