    Through strategic grantmaking, in-kind donations and team member giving and volunteerism programs, we strengthen education, help meet community needs and create lasting impact together.​

    Micron Gives

    The Micron Foundation matches eligible team member contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000 USD per team member, per fiscal year, to qualified organizations. 

    If you represent a nonprofit or academic organization, visit the Benevity Causes portal to see if your organization is eligible and registered to receive matching funds or to claim your account.

    Volunteerism​

    Our Volunteer Program is diverse, flexible and purpose-driven. We promote activities that connect team member skills with community needs, as well as with Micron’s culture. Team member volunteerism spans individual and group activities, skills-based service, nonprofit board service and global campaigns like Micron’s annual Star Light volunteer initiative to create measurable impact in our communities.   ​

    Grants​

    Volunteerism grants turn service into results. We fund nonprofits to curate large-scale volunteer events and procure supplies for Micron team member volunteers to create more impactful outcomes.​

    Board service​

    Team member volunteers who serve on nonprofit boards have opportunities to apply their skillsets to solve big challenges that advance nonprofit missions in ways that extend beyond traditional volunteering.​

    Global Star Light initiative

    Star Light is an annual Micron volunteer initiative, connecting team members worldwide. During Star Light 2025, which lasted 47 days in honor of Micron’s 47th anniversary, team members contributed over 147,000 volunteer hours and raised more than $250K USD.

    Rapid Response​ Program

    Our Rapid Response Program provides immediate financial support when natural disasters strike communities near Micron sites. Through grants and team member donation matching in 2025, we funded relief efforts for hurricanes, flooding and wildfires, helping nonprofit organizations restore stability for thousands of families and reinforcing our commitment to community resiliency and engagement.​
