Micron encourages team members to enrich our community by volunteering time, energy and resources. The Micron Foundation is pleased to announce that more than 60 Micron team members, families and friends volunteered their time on Saturday, Nov. 10 in the Rake Up Boise event. Folsom team members have been busy donating both money and time to a number of causes throughout the community this year. Numerous volunteers spent their evening fielding phone calls at the KVIE Sacramento Pledge Drive telethon, raising more than $10,000 in pledges for the PBS station. Boise Paint the Town

More than 50 Micron team members, families and friends volunteered their time Saturday, June 9 at the annual Paint the Town event in Boise despite inclement weather. Over the years, Micron volunteers have helped paint and fix up a house of a senior or disabled homeowner unable to maintain their homes. Thanks to the hard work of the volunteers, including a follow-up session on June 23 (due to being rained out the previous weekend), the Micron team successfully completed the painting projects.

Encouraging Female High School Students in Virginia to Pursue Engineering Careers
