Connection Methods

Choosing a Method of Connection to Micron’s Network

Several operating systems are compatible with Micron’s Remote Access functionality:

  • Windows Platform - You must install the SoftID files for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (See the SoftID Installation tab for details)
  • Mac Platform- You must install the 2FA SoftID application for Mac OS (See the SoftID Installation tab for details)
  • Nix (Linux and Unix) Platform – You must have the 2FA  SoftID application on your mobile or other device, or the SoftID token application will not work on these operating systems. Contact the IT Service Desk for more information.
  • Mobile Devices – Use the EMM solution at Micron.
