Overview

Our HPC modules are the foundational building blocks for a truly scalable system based on the PCIe bus standard. Comprised of FPGA logic (with loading system), a local memory subsystem and a fully switched PCIe x8 communication structure, the AC-505 module is designed to maximize memory and compute bandwidth and scalability.

Up to six business card-size AC-505 modules can be snapped onto a Micron EX-700 backplane, filling a single PCIe slot with a groundbreaking level of parallel processing density and scalability for compute-intensive applications.

The AC-505 ships standard with the Xilinx® Kintex®-7 K325T FPGA and features a PCIe x8 Gen2 connection to the host and a high-performance, high-density SODIMM with an independent memory controller, local to the FPGA.

The AC-505 is an ideal solution for dramatically accelerating radio astronomy, design simulations/emulations, SDR applications, beam forming, digital signal processing and other algorithms.
