Karen Metz is business planning and process management vice president at Micron Technology. She is responsible for the company’s business planning, business process management, program management and change management. Ms. Metz also has global responsibility for diversity and inclusion at Micron. She was appointed to her current position in 2015.
Since joining Micron in 1992, Ms. Metz has held senior leadership positions in various departments, including finance, information systems, human resources, operations and corporate development. Prior to her current position, she was the global director of mergers and acquisitions integration.
Ms. Metz is the executive sponsor of the Micron Women’s Leadership Network and is on the board of directors of Boise Valley Dress for Success. She was also recognized as the 2015 Tribute to Women and Industry Honoree by the Women’s and Children’s Alliance in Boise.
Ms. Metz earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis.
