“Beyond the practical benefits, autonomous cars could contribute $1.3 trillion in annual savings to the US economy alone, with global savings estimated at over $5.6 trillion,” wrote Ravi Shanker, Morgan Stanley lead analyst covering the North American auto and related industries, in a research note. For the US, it could represent 8% in annual GDP, the reallocation of which could have major implications of its own.
Join Micron at Flash Memory Summit to understand how memory is driving autonomously. Micron will have presentations on autonomous driving and how our NAND technology will help enable the future.
The first, Memory Development to Driving Autonomously, explains the 6 levels of autonomous driving and the systems encompassing advanced driver assistance systems. This session will help you navigate what autonomous cars mean for you, the consumer. This session will also cover how Micron’s NAND Flash memory plays a role in enabling the capabilities which will change your everyday life. This presentation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 10th at 8:30-9:35 a.m.
The second presentation, Meeting Autonomous Memory Needs, will focus on the next generation memory and where Micron is innovating to meet the ever growing storage needs in this market. This presentation will be on Thursday, Aug. 11th at 2:30-3:45 p.m.
