The St. Luke’s Health Foundation Children's Advisory Board recently recognized the Micron Foundation with a Luke Award for its efforts to enrich the community and its “extraordinary support” of the Children’s Hospital. The Luke Award recognizes individuals and businesses or organizations for their commitment to the hospital, which helps ensure there is a depth of pediatric medical services available locally.
Micron CEO Mark Durcan, Micron Foundation Executive Director Dee Mooney and Micron Foundation Community Relations Manager Kami Faylor accepted the Luke Award on behalf of the Micron Foundation and Micron team members during a ceremony on Thursday, January 15. Dee captured the sentiments of our entire team when she shared: “As we explore different opportunities to improve the quality of life where we work and live, our support of the Children’s Hospital certainly hits home for every parent, family member and friend of anyone who has relied on its services.”
Attendees of the Luke Award 2015 event included David and Anne Moree Goss, who were also honored, Micron Foundation Board Member and Vice President of Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Joel Poppen and several members of the St. Luke’s Health Foundation and the St. Luke’s Children's Advisory Board.
