Micron team member Nate Koch, along with artist Julie Clement, created an award-winning work of art with Micron-produced materials. Titled "Decode," the artwork was on display at the Longmont Area Economic Council's Community Appreciation Luncheon last month. It was one of four collaborations between local artists and companies. Attendees voted for their favorite submissions, with Koch and Clement winning first place.
For winning the competition, a donation in Micron's honor was made to the local Math, Engineering Science & Achievement (MESA) program during Micron's new Longmont facility grand opening ceremony on Sept. 19, 2012.
