Live from Boise State! A nationwide science talk show will be broadcasting live from Boise State University this month, thanks to a sponsorship from the Micron Foundation. Airing each week as part of NPR's 'Talk of the Nation' programming, Science Friday will discuss the latest science news and topics on Sept. 28.
Helping bring Science Friday to Boise aligns with the Micron Foundation’s philosophy and commitment to spark the passion for STEM in our youth, engineer the future for students and invest in communities where Micron team members live and work. The show helps elevate science and STEM topics into the national conversation, a focus also shared by Micron and the Micron Foundation.
Veteran NPR science correspondent and award-winning TV journalist Ira Flatow is the host of Science Friday. Flatow brings an educated, balanced discussion to bear on the scientific issues at hand by connecting listeners with scientists. Science Friday has become known for its informative discussions about science, technology, health, medicine, space, and the environment.
