Is Bandwidth per Watt Important to You?

The EPA estimates* that in 2006 the nation’s servers and data centers used about 1.5% of the total U.S. electricity consumption—a whopping 61 billion kilowatt hours (kWh)—at a cost of $4.5 billion.
