Micron Chip Camp Sparks a Passion for Science and Technology

Led by Micron engineers and scientists, more than 120 students from 40 different schools participated in the ninth annual Chip Camp held June 16-18 and June 23-25 in Boise. The Micron Foundation sponsors the free, hands-on science and technology camp designed for teens that have completed either seventh or eighth grade. The goal of Chip Camp is to expose students at a young age to the semiconductor industry, encouraging them to include math and science classes in their course selection during their high school years.
