Mèlika D. Carroll has recently been named Micron’s Director of Global Government Affairs. Carroll is responsible for the coordination of Micron’s relationships with governments worldwide. She joined Micron Technology, Inc. in February 2007 to open Micron’s Federal Government Affairs office in Washington, D.C.
Carroll has been a Board Member of Washington International Trade Association since 2005 and was appointed Chairman of the Women’s High Tech Coalition in January 2008. Carroll is currently Micron’s representative to the Joint Steering Committee for the World Semiconductor Council and a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Information and Communications Technologies, Services and Electronic Commerce (ITAC 8). Prior to joining Micron, Carroll spent the past decade managing government affairs for companies and organizations in Ottawa, Brussels and Washington D.C.
