A Micron Field Application Engineer (FAE) brought home top honors from a key customer conference this month. Out of more than 80 semiconductor suppliers, Huawei honored its top five FAEs at the 2015 IC Semiconductor Supplier Conference in Shenzhen, China. Among the winners was Micron's Roger Zeng.

"I'm very excited to receive this award from Huawei," said Zeng. "But this would not be possible without the contribution of the whole account team." Roger Zeng Wins Huawei Award

Micron's Huawei account team spans multiple locations across China. It is typically working on 65 qualifications with the customer every quarter. Depending on the end application, these qualifications can take up to 18 months to complete.

Huawei is a leading global provider in carrier networks, enterprise, consumer, and cloud computing fields. In its award ceremony, the company praised Zeng's professionalism, positive attitude and responsiveness. Huawei also commended his proactive introduction of new Micron memory technology into Huawei applications which, in turn, helped Huawei be more competitive.

"I'm proud to represent Micron as an FAE with Huawei, which is Micron's strategic partner and an excellent company," said Zeng.

This is the first time a Micron FAE has won this acknowledgement.
