If you are a fan of flash like we are, then you have probably been anxiously waiting all summer for the Flash Memory Summit taking place this week in Santa Clara, California (August 11 – 13th) We’re looking forward to a SOLID showing at this year’s conference, and we are excited to unveil how we’re accelerating the storage revolution!
There are a variety of ways for you to engage with us this week at FMS – here are a few of the highlights:
- Darren Thomas, VP and GM of Micron’s Storage Business Unit will be headlining the week with a keynote presentation on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 11:30 am, titled “When Will Flash Accelerate the Storage Revolution?”. Darren will address the current state of flash storage and the exciting (solid) state of things to come. He will be joined by a surprise guest who is widely regarded as a technology visionary. This is a keynote not to be missed!
- Michael Abraham, Business Line Manager at Micron, will give an update on new technologies, including the just announced 3D XPoint™ technology, during Session U-4 on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 4:30 pm. If you want to stay in front of developments in emerging nonvolatile memory technologies, you will want to be at this session!
- Rob Peglar, VP of Advanced Storage at Micron, will chair Session 302-A on Thursday, Aug. 13 to discuss “How Flash will Transform Enterprise Applications.” This session promises to deliver a variety of perspectives from influential leaders in the flash storage industry.
