Micron Political Action Committee (PAC) members were recently joined by Rep. Raul Labrador, R–Idaho, in a lunch reception and discussion of issues before the 112th Congress.
Labrador stressed his opposition to raising the debt ceiling, instead offering alternative reforms he felt would provide a long-term solution to the issue. Responding to a question on term limits, Labrador admitted his experiences have cast the issue in a new light, but stressed the importance of staying true to one’s own values and standing up for what you believe in. “Too many people are worried about the next election and not the next generation,” he said.
Labrador thanked team members for their participation in the discussion and for their continued support of the Micron PAC.
