Treasure Valley FIRST Robotics Teams Head to World Championship

Micron and the Micron Foundation are pleased to support the 2011 Treasure Valley FIRST Robotics teams from the Boise, Meridian and Nampa School Districts. The teams had a strong showing at the Utah Regional FIRST Robotics Competition on April 9 and brought home the following awards:

NASKCO, FIRST Team 2594, was awarded the Judges’ Award, which is selected based on a team’s unique efforts, performance, or dynamics merit. (Nampa School District)

• Team Tator, FIRST Team 2122, was a Regional Winner as part of the alliance that won the robot tournament, and earned the Motorola Quality Award for machine robustness in concept and fabrication. (Boise School District)

The Bullbots, FIRST Team 1891, was awarded the Chairman’s Award, the most prestigious award handed out by FIRST. (Meridian School District)
