Our SSD portfolio continues to evolve with the addition of a multilevel cell (MLC) enterprise drive designed to manage the massive amount of digital information flowing in and out of data centers every day. Our new P400m SSD is built from the ground up with custom 25nm MLC NAND that uses Micron’s extended performance and enhanced reliability technology (XPERT). This technology closely integrates the NAND device and the controller through highly optimized firmware algorithms and hardware customizations. The result is a unique solution that doesn’t sacrifice speed for endurance or performance for an affordable price. Instead, high endurance and reliability accelerate throughput and response time during peak demand periods. - Redundant Array of Independent NAND (RAIN) Configuration: Protects the NAND device from data loss at any age; unlike ECC technology, RAIN recovers lost data beyond page, block, and die-level failures. Download the RAIN technical brief.
- Adaptive Read Management/Optimized Read (ARM/OR): Adjusts optimal read settings as natural shifts in the NAND device occur, which enables the drive to perform up to 10 drive fills per day for 5 years.
