Micron opened Stage 1 of its manufacturing facility in the Xi'an High Tech Zone in Shaanxi Province in Midwest China on March 21, 2007. Micron Semiconductor Xi'an is Micron's first manufacturing facility in China. It is designed for assembly and test operations for semiconductor products, including dynamic random access memory, NAND Flash memory and CMOS image sensors.
