Micron's San Jose location serves as a design and sales facility. The Mobile Memory Group (MMG) performs Flash design in San Jose. MMG develops innovative memory products for networking and communications applications such as servers and routers as well as consumer devices such as cell phones, PDAs, and digital cameras. Micron's Imaging Group also has a design staff at our San Jose location. Micron serves our Bay Area customers through the sales office located in San Jose.
Pasadena is home to most of Micron's US Imaging design team. Micron's Imaging group develops CMOS image sensor solutions primarily targeting the handset camera, digital still camera, and video camera markets.
