Q: How do I prepare to apply to Micron?
A:
The best way to apply to Micron is to have a copy of your resume
available prior to beginning the application process. If you
don't have a resume, you can create one online by using our Resume
Builder tool.
Q: Can I submit an attached file of my resume?
A:
Yes, you can attach a file of your resume in the following file
formats: Word, WordPerfect, Excel, plain text, rich text, HTML, and
.pdf. Your attached resume will then automatically populate the
Personal Information section. Please note: WordPerfect and
Excel resumes will not populate the Personal Information section.
Attaching a resume file is the best option for submitting your
resume, but there are two other options. You can create a resume by
using the Build Your Resume tool or you can copy and paste a plain text
resume. Be sure to carefully follow the instructions for doing this on
the plain text resume page.
Q: How can I find which positions are currently available at Micron?
A: To find current positions at Micron, use the Job Search

geographic region. You can also use the keyword search to enter terms
that describe the job you're seeking or to enter a job code number.
Q: What can I do if I am not interested in a specific job but I would still like to submit my resume?
A:
You can submit a resume as a part of completing a profile. When

can also choose to be notified by automatic e-mail of available
openings that match your profile.
Q: Do I need to answer all of the questions that are part of the application to a job?

answering all of the questions associated with a job. The more

for recruiters and hiring managers to evaluate your qualifications for
their position(s).

A: Your profile will remain in our system indefinitely.
Q: What if I forget my password or username?
A:
When you are at the log in page, click on the "Forgot Password?" or

instructions. This feature also allows you to change your password.
Q: Once I submit my application, can I contact the hiring manager or a recruiter?
A:
Micron hiring managers and recruiters are not available to be contacted
at this point in the application process. Once your application is
submitted for a job, recruiters can search the database for your resume
and profile and may contact you to discuss your interest and next steps
if your qualifications match the job posting. This is why it is
important for you to create a profile and keep your information up to
date.
Q: What happens to my application once I have applied?
A: If you have applied to a specific job, your application will be reviewed by recruiter.
Q: How do I update my profile information?
A:
To update your profile information, log in to your existing profile and
select "Update Your Profile." Please note: If you change your e-mail
address here it will also change your username. Do not
create multiple accounts because it will delay the hiring process.
Q: What if I get an error message when I apply?
A:
Please click "Support Information" for technical assistance if you
receive error messages at any point in the application process.
