Boise, Idaho, Micron's headquarters offers many attractions and opportunities for interns to keep busy, active, and entertained when they're not on the job. A wide variety of activities can be found on-site, in the community, and in the area.

Situated at the base of the Idaho Rocky Mountains, Boise is surrounded by beautiful scenery, with mountains, lakes, and rivers all within a 20-minute drive. Here are just a few activities that help make Boise a perfect place to live, work, and play all year long:

Winter Activities

If you like winter, here's what you'll like about Boise.

  • Over 13 ski resorts located within a one-day drive, including Bogus Basin Ski Resort, which is just 16 miles north
  • Vast backcountry offering cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hunting, and ice fishing
