Even though you’re still in school, you can get valuable, on-the-job
experience with Micron, one of the leading semiconductor manufacturers
in the world through Micron internship.
As an intern at Micron, you’ll have the opportunity to work beside
some of the finest engineers in the industry on a day-to-day basis.
You’ll gain valuable experience working on real-time projects in
areas, such as Test, Product Engineering, Assembly, Modules and
Quality Assurance. It’s a chance to make friends and make connections
while gaining valuable industry experience that will be a great
asset to your future career.
We recruit students for internships at our assembly, test and module
centre in Singapore. Internships range from 6 months industrial
attachment programme to 3 month vacation internship programme. Extended
internships may be available, depending on the project needs.

- For undergraduates from National University of Singapore (NUS)
- Industrial Attachment Programme
- 8 January through 22 June, 2007 (24-week programme)
- Vacation Internship Programme
- May through July 2007 (12-week programme)
- For undergraduates from Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
- Industrial Attachment Programme
- 8 January through 9 June, 2007 (22-week programme)
- 8
January through 4 August, 2007 (30-week programme)
- Industrial Orientation Programme
- May through July, 2007 (10-week programme)
- For undergraduates
from University of Malaya (UM)
- Vacation Internship Programme
- May through July 2007 (12-week
programme)
Eligibility / Criteria for Application
- For undergraduates currently pursuing a fulltime engineering
degree in NUS, NTU, and UM
- Open to all nationalities and students must be willing to
work in Singapore during the internship period
- Undergraduates from both NUS, NTU, and UM must have completed
their 2nd year of study before they are eligible to apply for
the programmes

Projects are available for the following engineering disciplines:

- Materials Science & Engineering
- Electrical / Electronics Engineering

Application
The application for IA Programme for undergraduates from NUS and
NTU is now closed. Please watch out for the next application exercise
for VI and IO Programme in February/March 2007.
The application for VI Programme for undergraduates from UM is
now open. Interested? Rise up to the challenge and apply
now. Check out the list of projects available and submit
your application online with your resume and transcript. If shortlisted,
we will contact you directly to arrange for an interview in January
2007 (UM students, please note that interviews will be conducted
at UM).
