John F. Schreck
Vice President of DRAM Development
John Schreck joined Micron in 1998 as part of the acquisition of
Texas Instrument’s memory business and co-managed Micron’s DRAM
design activity at the company’s Texas design center. In 2002 Mr.
Schreck joined the Mobile Memory Group as design manager. He was
appointed to his current position in 2006.
While at Texas Instruments, Mr. Schreck was a Distinguished Member
of the Technical Staff and held various positions, including EEPROM
designer, Flash productization manager, and DRAM design manager.
Mr. Schreck received a bachelor of science degree in electrical
engineering from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in
electrical engineering from Rice University. He is a Senior Fellow
and holds 48 patents in the areas of EEPROM, Flash, and DRAM design.
