Scholarships

The Micron Technology Foundation has implemented two main scholarship programs and sponsored several others. Through this sponsorship, the Micron Foundation is able to award more than 100 scholarships to outstanding students pursuing degrees in engineering, computer science, or business. The Foundation's ability to provide scholarship programs encourages students and faculty to pursue excellence and be leaders in the fields of technology.

Micron Science and Technology Scholars

ScholarshipsThe Micron Science and Technology Scholars Program is a merit-based scholarship competition recognizing excellence in academics and leadership. Each year, the program awards a $25,000 college scholarship to six high school seniors for a total of up to $150,000. One male and one female student is selected from each of the following states: Idaho, Utah and Virginia.

University Scholars

Teacher/StudentWhile partnering with several U.S. and international universities, the Foundation awards scholarships to students pursuing degrees in electrical and computer engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, materials science engineering, and production operations management.
