The Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP), a new state program supported by technology councils throughout Virginia, provides an online system that allows companies to select and hire 2013 summer interns from a pool of eligible college and university students enrolled in STEM majors (science, technology, engineering and math).

As a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), Micron Technology in Virginia is participating in the program and has posted anticipated internship opportunities for 2013. The program was officially kicked off by Virginia Secretary of Education Laura Fornash on Sept. 27, begins to accept students applications on Nov. 1, 2012. Visit the CSIIP program site for more information about the program in Virginia.
